HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED
Rule 3.7 – Your car needs to be readable by Timing & Scoring, course workers, and grid workers at all times. That means numbers and class letters on both sides, sized correctly, and contrasting with your car.
DETAILS
- 8″ Minimum Number height with 1.25″ minimum stroke width
- 4″ Minimum Class height with .75″ minimum stroke width
- Class letter height should be 25-75% of number height with matching font & color (We usually do 50%)
- Placement needs to be both sides of the car *Body panels only – not windows
- Only one set of numbers and class letters may be visible while your car is on course. Class letters must be spelled in full uppercase – for example, “STU”.
- Add an “L” after the class letters (e.g., a woman competing in B Street Prepared displays “BSPL”). All our class letters sets allow optional Ladies L.

ARE THESE GRAPHICS LEGAL FOR ALL SCCA SOLO EVENTS?
Yes.
Every number and class set meets the SCCA Solo Rule 3.7 Minimums- including the 8″ number height and 4″ class letter height. Legal at regional events, National Tours, ProSolo, and the SCCA Solo Nationals.
DO YOU OFFER REMOVABLE GRAPHICS?
Yes.

DO I NEED A NUMBER PANEL OR CAN I USE INDIVIDUALLY CUT NUMBERS?
Both work – it comes down to your preference.
Individual number decals apply directly to your car body, but you need to insure that the numbers contrast with car color. Number panels add a solid background behind the numbers, giving you the contrast if needed.
CAN I ORDER MY CLASS LETTERS AND RACE NUMBERS TOGETHER?
Absolutely – most competitors do.
We offer sets to let you choose color and type style so they match. You can also choose to order class and number graphics separately. NOTE: We always send a proof before production.
